Bourbon Street Creole Kitchen & Bar, was founded in 2013 by the De Alwis family, is a father-and-sons venture that offers an inviting destination for authentic Cajun-Creole cuisine, exceptional cocktails, and live music. The restaurant’s charm and delectable offerings are rooted in the family’s rich culinary background.Mike, the father, honed his Cajun-Creole cooking skills while studying in Lafayette, Louisiana, working in local restaurants. His oldest son, Jehan, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London and refined his expertise in Michelin-starred establishments. The youngest son, Mikey, specializes in crafting exquisite cocktails, enhancing the dining experience for all guests.​Together, this talented trio brings the vibrant flavors and traditions of the South to life, offering an unforgettable gastronomic journey in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
